Lu insisted on wearing this costume. I tried to reason with her...maybe something a little less garrish I told her. She never listens.

Today I went to lunch with a friend who has also lost a child. He is two years further down the path than we are. One of the things that he shared with me was that he wished he would have written his feelings down as they happened. I have so many words and emotions swirling around in my head. So many happenings and images to process. It feels to painful to sort through. One at a time I guess. One that I do not want to forget is this: When we were all surrounding Amber's bed on that last day...we were surrounding Necie like a big love blanket as she tried to understand that her Mom would soon be leaving for Heaven. Her Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents would just spontaneously say " Love you Nece!! Love you Netchia!! Love you Necie...reassuring her as she held her Mommie's hand. She would reply each time..in the saddest little voice...love you. The love in that room was so pure..so honest..I hope that I never ever forget what that felt like. Love you Am.

What I wanted most for my daughter was that she be able to soar confidently in her own sky, whatever that may be.-- Helen Claes

I love this picture of Oz and Anth at work!

Anthony and his dog Ozzie at work! Anthony works for an enviromental consulting company. This project includes monitoring mortality rates of birds and bats on the wind farm.

Here is a shot of one of the wind turbines on the Anthony's work site.

I've started a blog!!

My daughter in law Jenny Lambourne and daughter Marti Parker have started family blogs. They inspired me! I love to look at their blogs every day to keep up with what is going on in their families! We recently had our oldest grandson Jacobie come to live with us permantently. I'm sure that his Nana and Joe and brother and sister and the rest of the family will love to see the latest goings on with him!

I'm just learning so try to be patient!! I'm going to start with the pics I have on my lap top. I'm in the market for a digital camera...I should be posting regularly by next week.
